LIFE EWAS Results Presented in Barcelona – 23 March 2017

On the 23rd of March the results of the LIFE EWAS have been presented in Barcelona, Spain in a workshop organized by ENT. The almost 50 attendees had the opportunity to find out how to improve the efficiency of waste management through the sensorization of containers and the modeling of collection routes. Finally, a debate was opened on the application of ICT technologies in municipal waste management. Below you may view the agenda of the workshop.

12.30pm. | Open discussion with participants: How can we apply these technologies in our context? For what fractions? What benefit does its use generate, beyond improving the efficiency of the collection?

13.30h. | Closing of the workshop

DEDISA organized a regional workshop in Chania, on the 30th of March, in order to disseminate the results of the LIFE EWAS project and to announce the operation of the project’s social platform.
